What to Expect

Pangaea will work towards building a partnership with your company through understanding Client Strategic Goals and Objectives. Pangaea will strive to be your first choice for the top talent that your company can build its business around.

You can expect that Pangaea will:
•  Perform a through Needs Analysis prior to the start of the search
•  Not engage in a search unless we are 100% convinced in our success in filling the position to your  
   satisfaction.
•  Acknowledge that Pangaea is not a fit for every company or hiring manager. Our targeted search approach
   to recruiting is directed at passive candidates together with a fast paced hiring time-line. This can be
   challenging for clients that are used to a passive search processes with leisurely hiring time-lines.
•  Make a substantial investment of time to achieve a successful hire. A typical engaged or retained search     
   takes 250 hours for key technical or management positions. We will spend up to 500 hours for “C” level or
   above searches.
•  Be tenacious in our pursuit of the right candidate for your opportunity.
•  Give you honest feedback on the market's perception of the Client and Client's opportunity.
•  Present candidates which will be qualified based on a specific
•  Performance Profile and who are motivated for the opportunity.
•  Manage Candidates' expectations from start to finish. .
•  That Pangaea will be timely and follow-through on our commitments.
•  Provide our clients with regular feed back and reports on the search progress.

We expect that our Clients will:
•  Work with Pangaea as partners towards a successful staffing solution.
•  Define a Hiring Team and achieve consensus of the "Performance Profile" for a successful candidate
   involving the entire hiring team prior to the start of the search.
•  Agree that the Hiring Profile will be the basis for hire.
•  Work on an appointment basis with a regular schedule of contact.
•  Agree to take our calls for urgent events that are not anticipated by appointment.
•  Work towards a hiring process that is no more than three weeks in length from your first exposure to the 
   candidate to an offer and acceptance.
• Inform Pangaea immediately of any changes in the position or the level of urgency in filling the position.
